About Em Henry

Em Henry  is a dynamic organizer known for her creativity and precise attention to detail.

Coming from a very social family, Em got her entertaining spirit from her mother who was always entertaining family and friends on an extravagant level. So with that instilled she began her event planning career very early. By the time Em was sixteen, she was the go-to-girl for helping her high school’s clubs and organizations plan their fundraisers. In college, she gained her vast knowledge of event logistics and hands-on experience by interning with numerous firms from catering companies to corporations and non-profits helping to plan their meetings and galas.

After three years in corporate planning sector, Em integrated her entrepreneur spirit and inherited passion for planning events and ventured out on her own .

With over eight years planning events, Em’s reputation for professionalism and commitment has awarded her the pleasure of working with the regions most powerful & affluent people. From small dinner parties to large elaborate formal events; Em Henry provides luscious food and sophisticated décor for an overall fabulous event.

Em has worked with: The African American Heritage Society of Charles County, Allstate Insurance Company, College of Southern Maryland, Culbreath Consulting Firm - where she managed more than 25 events per year, which included a series of high profile client receptions and a year end gala; with over 350 attendees, Delta Sigma Theta, Federal Reality Investment Trust, Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau, Howard University, Lackey High School, National Society of Minorities in Hospitality, Nike, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Twelve Good Men Organization, U.S. Army, and Vernell Communications.
